The Advantages

I cannot believe I signed up for a TK Maxx loyalty card through their website two years ago and, I forgot I did so. When I was shopping there last month, the sales assistant mentioned the card to me. I told her I didn’t have one, so she suggested I go online to sign up. When getting home, I went online only to find out I did register for the card. But I forgot about it.

Hardly ever shopped in TK Maxx in the past. I would go only a few times a year, but now it is on my top list of stores that I love shopping in, whether from their homeware isles, clothing section, lingerie, socks or nightwear. Check out their aisle with notebooks they have such a great selection which I highly recommend. You can get a pretty little notebook for your to-do lists for £4.99. The prices vary but the price range is from £4.99 to £12.99.

Just in time to log in all of my previous purchases from the store this year. I managed to earn five keys, which meant I could receive a reward. I was so happy that I was able to bag Beeswax Wraps.

How does the reward system from the loyalty card work?

Every time you shop at TK Maxx, show them your physical treasure card or the one stored on your phone. Doing so will earn what they call Keys. You have to reach five keys to claim a reward. However, if you forget to present your card, you can add the points by logging into your online account.

You can see how many keys you have accumulated by logging into your account online. You can also check what rewards are on offer even though these do change, but it is good to get an idea of the freebies they give out just for collecting five keys. More about loyalty cards here, check them out.

  1. I really like TKMaxx but I’ve hardly bought anything from there in ages 🙁 I liked their scheme when you would win things randomly after a purchase as I managed a £5 gift card and bag of coffee, which I was thrilled about. Well, the gift card. My mum had the coffee as I can’t stand the stuff 😂 I get the newsletters about the keys but until now I never knew what you could get after storing them up so this is really interesting! Fab post – I definitely need to get down to TKMaxx and spend some of the money I don’t have, STAT.

    1. Hey Caz,

I signed up for their Treasure card online then completely forgot all about it. I hardly shopped from TK Maxx in the past because I would go in, look at a few things then I would get fed up and walk out, but recently I made a few home and clothing purchases from them. I think they are fab, I found amazing stuff and it is on one of my top list of shops to keep visiting. I find that when I visit shops occasionally, I end up laying eyes on great products. I had luck on my side I think. Not only did I manage to log in and find that one of the rewards was to receive Bees Wax Wraps at the time, but all of my previous receipts were able to be added on so that I could receive the keys. Lol, I know what you mean about not having the money to spend but I should have mentioned that even if you buy an item that is £1.00 and (that is if you are lucky to find anything this price) then you can still get a key. Even if you donate some clothes. I think they have a great incentive here but they have different rewards every time. You never know, you might find a reward for something you have wanted but didn’t feel necessary to buy. It is worth logging in once in a while to see what rewards they have going. I will add a link to their Treasure card.

  2. It’s definitely an interesting concept. I think I’d prefer to collect points and spend them on what I choose, though it is good to learn about new products.

    1. Hi Victoria,

Yes points are good too, but unfortunately they don’t offer this.
